Who is MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan? |
| MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan was founded in 1979 as a state affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America. We have been working to protect reproductive freedom for almost 30 years.

What does MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan do? |
MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan is a statewide, bi-partisan membership organization that works through the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancies, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.
MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan is devoted solely to political activism and advocacy on behalf of reproductive rights.

How does MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan work to protect reproductive freedom? |
To carry out our mission, MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan uses the political process to develop policies and strategies that:
Ensure that all women have the constitutionally protected right to choose and obtain a safe and legal abortion;
Ensure that women, men and teenagers have access to quality sexuality education and voluntary contraceptive care in order to prevent unintended pregnancy;
Enable women and families who choose to have children to have healthy pregnancies and healthy children;
Ensure that the rights and conditions necessary to exercise these rights are available to everyone without regard to race, ethnicity, color, religion, age, gender, degree of physical ability, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, economic means or educational status.

Does MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan work on political campaigns? |
| MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan actively supports pro-choice candidates for elective office. Our support includes voter education through a voter guide, candidate recruitment and training, and financial support through MARAL Pro-Choice Michigan PAC.
